Summary: Each year around 15 per 100,000 people in the UK develop intra-epidermal squamous cell carcinoma-Bowen\'s disease. The lesions of Bowen\'s disease are slow-growing, erythematous scaly skin plaques that cause few, if any, symptoms. However, if left untreated, they progress to invasive squamous cell carcinoma in 3-5% of patients. Here we review the management of Bowen\'s disease.
