Summary: Open Cholecystectomy done under the effect of sedation with 5mg Midazolam and epidural anesthesia in a previously failed intubation ,airway edema and trachiostomized lady before 7 months;direct laryngoscopy with Airtraq showed subglottic fibrosed granuloma anteriorly&posteriorly thus we dicided the above anesthetic technique fearing of the same tragig mishap to occur again
